I was commissioned to paint a mural for IBM’s new headquarters in Helsinki in 2023. They selected four artists all together, and it was an honour to be the one chosen for the big entrance wall (9m wide). In fact, IBM liked my proposal so much that ‘Flora’ became the overall concept for the entire office gallery.
I wanted to create aesthetics of joy, and to me, nature has the most beautiful and astonishing shapes, patterns, and colour combinations. I think this vibrant botanical artwork will keep inspiring people working at and visiting the IBM office in Helsinki’s new cool building complex, Lyyra.
This case was so much fun and having a Fortune 500 company as a client and reference is obviously wonderful.
